Sister taxon: Yubaatar zhongyuanensis
Type specimen: CUGW VH101, a partial skeleton (skull and partially articulated postcranial skeleton). Its type locality is Yubaatar qianzhouensis type locality, which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial horizon in the Hekou Formation of China.
Ecology: arboreal herbivore
Distribution: found only at Yubaatar qianzhouensis type locality
