Sister taxon: Juraperla grandis

Type specimen: NIGP 12190, an exoskeleton (two complete fore wings, one hind leg and fragments of thorax). Its type locality is Daohugou (NIGP collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Daohugou (NIGP collection)
