When: Vega-Phroso Siltstone Member (Sulphur Mountain Formation), Griesbachian to Griesbachian (251.9 - 247.2 Ma)

• The exact horizon is not known but the specimen comes from the Lower Triassic Vega-Phroso Siltstone Member of the Sulphur Mountain Formation. The age is believed to be Griesbachian to mainly (early) Smithian (and possibly Spathian).
