Ocepeia daouiensis
Taxonomy
Ocepeia daouiensis was named by Gheerbrant et al. (2001). Its type specimen is CPSGM-MA1, a mandible (fragment of right dentary), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Ouled Abdoun Basin (lowermost bed 1), which is in a Selandian marine phosphorite in Morocco. It is the type species of Ocepeia.
