Astadelphis gastaldii

Taxonomy
Steno gastaldii was named by Brandt (1874). Its type specimen is MGPT PU 13883, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ca-Lunga, which is in a Zanclean marine horizon in the Sabbie d'Astie Formation of Italy.

It was recombined as Astadelphis gastaldii by Bianucci (1996), Murakami et al. (2014), Ormezzano and Lanzetti (2014).
