Harpyodus progressus
Taxonomy
Harpyodus progressus was named by Huang and Zheng (1997). Its type specimen is IVPP V11353, a maxilla (P2-M1), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Xuancheng IVVP Loc. 70071, which is in a Paleocene terrestrial mudstone in the Shuangtasi Formation of China.
