Coelurosaurichnus palyssi

Taxonomy
Coelurosaurichnus palissyi was named by Gand (1976). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Repas, Rg1-Rg2, a footprint, and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is La Pissoire Quarries, EF3 tracksite, which is in an Anisian/Ladinian floodplain claystone/sandstone in the Grès d'Antully Formation of France.

It was synonymized subjectively with Coelurosaurichnus perriauxi by Gand and Demathieu (2005); it was misspelled as Coelurosaurichnus palissyi by Thulborn (2006), Gand et al. (2007), Foster et al. (2025).
