Nigerpeton ricqlesi
Taxonomy
Nigerpeton ricqlesi was named by Sidor et al. (2005). Its type specimen is MNN MOR69, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ibadanane Area II, which is in a Changhsingian floodplain mudstone/sandstone in the Moradi Formation of Niger. It is the type species of Nigerpeton.
