Taxonomy
Kormagnostus copelandi was named by Westrop et al. (1996). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is WRI 613, White Rock Inlet, which is in a Marjumian offshore shelf conglomerate in the Shallow Bay Formation of Canada.
