Sophianacetus commenticius
Taxonomy
Mediocris commenticius was named by Kazár (2005). Its type specimen is MTM V.03.2, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kovacsszenaja, which is in a Serravallian marine marl in the Kozard Formation of Hungary. It is the type species of Mediocris, Sophianacetus.
It was recombined as Sophianacetus commenticius by Kazár (2006), Kazár (2006).
