Nigerophis mirus
Taxonomy
Nigerophis mirus was named by Rage (1975). Its type specimen is SES 100 (University of Montpellier), a set of vertebrae, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Kreb de Sessao Nigerophis type locality, which is in a Paleocene/Paleocene terrestrial horizon in Niger.
