Taxonomy
Grandostoma taconicum was named by Marek (1963). It is not extant. Its type locality is Temporary outcrop just northwest of Běchovice, which is in a Hirnantian transition zone/lower shoreface shale in the Kosov Formation of the Czech Republic.
