Dubreuillosaurus valesdunensis
Taxonomy
Poekilopleuron valesdunensis was named by Allain (2002) [taxon named as Poekilopleuron? valesdunensis]. Its type specimen is MNHN 1998-13, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Conteville, Calvados, which is in a Bathonian shallow subtidal limestone in the Calcaires de Caen Formation of France. It was considered monophyletic by Allain (2002).
It was recombined as Dubreuillosaurus valesdunensis by Allain (2005), Galton and Knoll (2006), Benson et al. (2008), Carrano et al. (2012), Fernandes de Azevedo et al. (2013), Hendrickx and Mateus (2014), Rauhut et al. (2016), Razzolini et al. (2016).
It was recombined as Dubreuillosaurus valesdunensis by Allain (2005), Galton and Knoll (2006), Benson et al. (2008), Carrano et al. (2012), Fernandes de Azevedo et al. (2013), Hendrickx and Mateus (2014), Rauhut et al. (2016), Razzolini et al. (2016).
