Hoplocetus borgerhoutensis

Taxonomy
Hoplocetus borgerhoutensis was named by Du Bus (1872). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Borgerhout, Miocene, which is in a Tortonian/Messinian marine sandstone in the Sables d'Anvers Formation of Belgium.

It was synonymized subjectively with Scaldicetus caretti by Abel (1905).
