Coloradisaurus brevis
Taxonomy
Coloradia brevis was named by Bonaparte (1978). Its type specimen is PVL 3967, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is E of Cerro Rajado, which is in a Norian fluvial-lacustrine siliciclastic in the Los Colorados Formation of Argentina.
It was recombined as Coloradisaurus brevis by Lambert (1983), Bonaparte (1984), Novas (1997), Galton and Upchurch (2004), Upchurch et al. (2007), Barrett et al. (2007), Yates (2010), Langer et al. (2010), Apaldetti et al. (2011), Ezcurra and Apaldetti (2012), Apaldetti et al. (2013), Peyre de Fabrègues and Allain (2016), Müller and Garcia (2021).
It was recombined as Coloradisaurus brevis by Lambert (1983), Bonaparte (1984), Novas (1997), Galton and Upchurch (2004), Upchurch et al. (2007), Barrett et al. (2007), Yates (2010), Langer et al.
