Shenzhousaurus orientalis

Taxonomy
Shenzhousaurus orientalis was named by Ji et al. (2003). Its type specimen is NGMC 97-4-002 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sihetun, lower Yixian (general), which is in a Barremian/Aptian lacustrine shale/siltstone in the Yixian Formation of China. It is the type species of Shenzhousaurus.
