It was assigned to Titanosauriformes by Apesteguía (2005), Mannion and Calvo (2011), Mannion et al. (2013); and to Brachiosauridae by Ratkevich (1998), Tidwell et al. (1999), Hodnett (2003), Lü et al. (2007), You and Li (2009), D'Emic (2012), D'Emic and Foreman (2012), D'Emic et al. (2016), Mannion et al. (2017), Mannion et al. (2019).
