Taxonomy
Ogmophis voorhiesi was named by Holman (1977). It is not extant. Its type locality is J. M. Huber Corporation Kaolin (Clay) Pit, Twiggs Clay, which is in a Priabonian marginal marine claystone in the Twiggs Formation of Georgia.
