Praemegaptera pampauensis
Taxonomy
Praemegaptera pampauensis was named by Behrmann (1995). Its type specimen is Das im Naturhistorischen Museum Lubeck aufgestelite Exemplar, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Grosse-Pampau, which is in a Serravallian offshore shelf claystone in the Glimmerton Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Praemegaptera.
