Navahopus falcipollex
Taxonomy
Navahopus falcipollex was named by Baird (1980). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is MNA G2.7092 (P3.339), a footprint, and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Coppermine Trading Post tracksite, MNA 226, which is in a Pliensbachian/Toarcian dune sandstone in the Navajo Sandstone Formation of Arizona. It is the type species of Navahopus.
