Pellegrinisaurus powelli
Taxonomy
Pellegrinisaurus powelli was named by Salgado (1996). Its type specimen is MPCA-Pv 1500, a set of postcrania (Dorsal + caudal vertebrae and femur), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cantera de la Pala Mécanica (MPCA), which is in a Campanian/Campanian terrestrial sandstone in the Anacleto Formation of Argentina.
