Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
B. Engesser 1972Big species of genus Plesiosorex, elongated M1 inf. (5,25 mm), M2 and M3 decrease in size to the back. Entoconid of M1 inf. is a bit lower than the metaconid. M2 inf. compared to the anterior teeth is very short (2,64), but has nearly the same width. Outer cingulum of lower molars is weakly developed and can only be seen at the frontal part of the teeth and is completely absent in P4 inf.. J2 strongly developed (crown on outer side 5.83 mm in length) and is completely even by looking from above. Upper M1 is special because of it's "ear-like" indentations anterior and posterior on the labial side. Looking from the masticatory surface the outer wall appears like a laying 3.
