Mixocetus elysius
Taxonomy
Mixocetus elysius was named by Kellogg (1934). Its type specimen is LACM 882 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lincoln Heights, which is in a Tortonian coastal sandstone in the Modelo Formation of California.
