Taxonomy
Condorraptor currumili was named by Rauhut (2005). Its type specimen is MPEF-PV 1672. Its type locality is Las Chacritas, Cerro Cóndor, which is in a Toarcian/Bajocian lacustrine claystone in the Cañadón Asfalto Formation of Argentina.
