Lophocetus repenningi
Taxonomy
Lophocetus repenningi was named by Barnes (1978). Its type specimen is USNM 23886 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Stanford Locality (USGS M1217), which is in a Tortonian marine sandstone in the Santa Margarita Formation of California.
