Ceterhinops longifrons

Taxonomy
Ceterhinops longifrons was named by Leidy (1877). Its type specimen is ANSP 11420, a partial skull (skull fragment), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ashley River (Miocene Marl), which is in a Miocene marine marl in South Carolina. It is the type species of Ceterhinops.
