Iniopsis caucasica

Taxonomy
Iniopsis caucasica was named by Lydekker (1892). Its type specimen is Georgia Museum, M. G. Collection116-121, 116-13-17, a partial skull (hinder portion of a cranium, fragments of jaws and vertebrae), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Perekishkyul, which is in a Chattian marine horizon in Azerbaijan. It is the type species of Iniopsis.
