Taxonomy
Granulifusus was named by Kuroda and Habe (1952) [m. kosnik taxon no: 8153]. It is extant.

It was assigned to Fasciolariinae by Wilson (1994); and to Fusininae by MacNeil (1960), Robba et al. (1989), Snyder (2003).
