Bellerophon kyndalynensis
Taxonomy
Bellerophon (Bellerophon) kyndalynensis was named by Yoo (1994). Its type specimen is ANU F.78348, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kyndalyn. Yoo Loc. 24. Behind Kyndalyn homestead, 10 km S of Somerton, which is in a Visean marine mudstone/limestone in the Merlewood Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Bellerophon kyndalynensis by Wagner (2023).
