Plateosaurus elizae
Taxonomy
Thecodontosaurus elisae was named by Sauvage (1907). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Provenchères-sur-Meuse, which is in a Rhaetian marine sandstone/sandstone in the Grès de Infralias Formation of France.
It was recombined as Plateosaurus elisae by Lapparent (1967); it was recombined as Plateosaurus elizae by Huene (1908), Huene (1914), Huene (1915), Kuhn (1939), Steel (1970), Buffetaut et al. (1991).
