Megaceros baotouensis

Megaceros baotouensis was named by Huang et al. (1989) [The type specimen is stored in the museum of Baotou, Inner Mongolia (Neimeng). The number in the Chinese article is: BM 8601, in the English abstract it is: NM 8601 (NM must be right)]. Its type specimen is NM 8601, an other (one right antler, brow tine damaged), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Houshuigou, bed 5, Baotou, which is in a Pleistocene terrestrial sandstone in China.
