Ptilodus gnomus
Taxonomy
Ptilodus gnomus was named by Scott et al. (2002). Its type specimen is UALVP 45145, a tooth (isolated right P4), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Cochrane 2, which is in a Ti1 fluvial-lacustrine siltstone in the Paskapoo Formation of Canada.
