Taxonomy
Lithocardium trentinum was named by Oppenheim (1901). It is not extant. Its type locality is Fojaniche near Roveredo, which is in a Priabonian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone/marl in the Nago Limestone Formation of Italy.
It was recombined as Avicularium trentinum by Harzhauser et al. (2008).
