Bandy 1949 | Test helicoid, dorsal side flattened or slightly convex, ventral side very deep as a result of the rapid increase in height of the chambers; periphery moderately lobulate; edge rather abruptly rounded, with shoulder, whorls 2 1/2 to 3, the last with about 4 1/2 chambers; sutures depressed, on the dorsal side curved and oblique, ventrally nearly radial; wall coarsely perforate, conspicuously spinose, rather reduced on the last chamber; aperture a moderately ow arch opening into the umbilicus, with an upper lip. Length, 0.42 mm. ; breadth, 0.34 mm. ; thickness, 0.29 mm. |
