Parictis primaevus

Taxonomy
Parictis primaevus was named by Scott (1893). Its type specimen is PU 10583, a mandible (left mandibular fragment with p2-p3 and alveoli of p1 and p4-m3), and it is not a trace fossil. It is the type species of Parictis.

It was considered a nomen dubium by Baskin and Tedford (1996).
