Palaeosinopa dorri
Taxonomy
Palaeosinopa dorri was named by Gingerich (1980). Its type specimen is UM 55122, a partial skull (partial cranium with nearly complete upper dentition), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dell Creek Quarry, which is in a Tiffanian terrestrial horizon in the Hoback Formation of Wyoming.
