Taxonomy
Oxydactylus lulli was named by Loomis (1911). Its type specimen is YPM 10327, a partial skeleton (a sknll complete as to the jaws and dentition, bnt lacking the major pm·t of the brain case and being considerably crushe!l laterally, and also of incomplete li), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Raw Hide Buttes (Upper Harrison), which is in an Arikareean terrestrial horizon in Wyoming.
