Hibernophis breithaupti
Taxonomy
Hibernophis breithaupti was named by Croghan et al. (2024) [http://zoobank.org/urn:lsid:zoobank.org:act:30A084BC-0633-4E3A-BA0D-778CE5DFD5A3]. Its type specimen is UW-11120-A, a partial skeleton (skkull and nearly complete skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UW V-75004, which is in an Orellan fluvial mudstone in the White River Formation of Wyoming.
