Camptognathosaurus walbeckensis
Taxonomy
Glyptosaurus walbeckensis was named by Kuhn (1940). Its type specimen is MLU.GeoS.4045, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Walbeck (Weferlingen), which is in a Selandian fissure fill sandstone/mudstone in Germany.
It was considered a nomen dubium by Augé (2005); it was recombined as Camptognathosaurus walbeckensis by Čerňanský and Vasilyan (2024).
