Taxonomy
Omomys lloydi was named by Gazin (1958). Its type specimen is C.M. No. 6417, a mandible (left ramus of mandible with P4-M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Powder Wash (Upper), which is in a Bridgerian channel lag sandstone in the Green River Formation of Utah.
