Falsifusus marysvillensis
Taxonomy
Fusinus marysvillensis was named by Merriam and Turner (1937). Its type specimen is UCMP 11747 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP loc. 1853, Marysville Buttes, which is in a Ypresian marine horizon in the Capay Formation of California.
It was recombined as Falsifusus marysvillensis by Vokes (1939).
