Microparamys bayi
Taxonomy
Microparamys bayi was named by Dawson (2001). Its type specimen is CMN 30937, a tooth (?m2 inf. dext.), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Ellesmere Island (Lower), which is in a Wasatchian deltaic horizon in the Margaret Formation of Canada.

Differs from other species of Microparamys except M. solidus in larger size; differs from M. solidus in having lower molars with shorter hypolophid, mesoconid present; upper molars with larger, cuspate hypocone, single protoconule and metaconule. |
