Taxonomy
Centrodeania annae was named by Feichtinger et al. (2024). Its type specimen is NHMW/2023/0120/0005, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Waidach, near Nussdorf, horizon 9, which is in a Danian carbonate marl in the Oiching Formation of Austria.
