Taxonomy
Apophysiactinia duplospinula was named by Won (1997). It is not extant. Its type specimen is G5808, a test. Its type locality is Pillara Range, SE of Menyous Gap, Canning Basin, which is in a Frasnian reef, buildup or bioherm shale/limestone in the Gogo Formation of Australia.
It was considered a nomen dubium by Aitchison et al. (2017).
