Verconella penrosei
Taxonomy
Verconella penrosei was named by Harris and Palmer (1947). Its type specimen is ANSP 4709 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Danville Landing, which is in a Priabonian marginal marine marl in the Moodys Branch Formation of Louisiana.
