Loxolophus faulkneri
Taxonomy
Loxolophus faulkneri was named by Eberle and Lillegraven (1998). Its type specimen is UW 26491, a mandible (fragment of a right dentary with associated p4, m2-3, and fragments of px and m1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ferris Formation (UW V-91003), which is in a Puercan terrestrial horizon in the Ferris Formation of Wyoming.
