Taxonomy
Domnina compressa was named by Galbreath (1953). It is the type species of Noritrimylus.
It was recombined as Heterosorex compressus by Mawby (1960); it was recombined as Trimylus compressus by Repenning (1967); it was recombined as Pseudotrimylus compressus by Engesser (1979); it was recombined as Noritrimylus compressus by Korth et al. (2022).
