Hypertragulus quadratus
Taxonomy
Hypertragulus quadratus was named by Cook (1934). Its type specimen is No. HC590, a maxilla (left maxilla with M1-M3), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Northeast of Harrison, which is in a Whitneyan terrestrial horizon in the Brule Formation of Nebraska.
