Fusioolithus padiyalensis
Taxonomy
Megaloolithus padiyalensis was named by Khosla and Sahni (1995). It is considered to be a form taxon. It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Padiyal, Dhar, which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial horizon in the Lameta Formation of India.
It was considered a nomen dubium by Mohabey (2005); it was recombined as Fusioolithus padiyalensis by Khosla and Lucas (2023), Dhiman et al. (2023).
