Chalicotherium rusingense
Taxonomy
Chalicotherium rusingense was named by Butler (1965). Its type specimen is BMNH M 25270, a maxilla, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rusinga Island R107, which is in a Burdigalian dry floodplain horizon in the Hiwegi Formation of Kenya.
